OLED【 Organic Light Emitting Diode 】

OLED_EarlyProduct OLED is a kind of the light-emitting diode in which the emissive electroluminescent layer is a film of organic compound that emits light in response to the current flow.
OLED device is composed of two electrodes and several functional layers: electron transport layer (ETL), emitting layer (EML), and hole transport layer (HTL), etc. When a bias is applied between anode and cathode electrodes, electron and hole recombine in the EML and emit light in response to the current flow.
As an information display, OLED is driven by an active-matrix (AM) array composed of thin-film transistors (TFTs) and capacitors.
Active-matrix organic light-emitting diode (AM-OLED) display has superior properties such as light & thin, low power consumption, high image quality, etc.
