Accelerating the development of mid-sized 4K JOLED display in the high-end monitor market
JOLED Inc. (headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Tadashi Ishibashi), which develops, manufactures, and sells OLED displays, announced that their OLED display has been adopted for the brand-new entertainment monitor FORIS NOVA by EIZO Corporation (headquartered in Hakusan, Ishikawa; President & CEO: Yoshitaka Jitsumori), a renowned Visual Technology Company that provides various video solutions.
FORIS NOVA, the first OLED product for EIZO, is a next-generation entertainment monitor that is ideal for watching videos and playing games. It will be released at the EIZO official online shop EIZO Direct (Japan) on November 1, followed by launches in the United States, Europe, and China. EIZO stated in their press release that, “In addition to the use of OLED with exceptional black expression, the compact 21.6-inch body / 4K high-definition and HDR-compatibility realize a more realistic video display.
